Single Session Therapy

Hi there…

Not everyone needs long-term therapy—and that’s okay.
Sometimes, one powerful conversation can create the clarity and direction you’ve been craving. That’s where Single Session Therapy (SST) comes in.

Whether you're facing a big decision, feeling emotionally stuck, or just need a space to sort through something important, one session can make a real difference. In my experience, some people just need a focused time to process, explore options, and walk away with a solid plan.

This isn’t about your relationship status—it’s about your goals.
In a single session, we’ll identify what’s most important, map out next steps, and equip you with questions and tools to move forward—without months of therapy or the pressure to figure it out alone.

You’ll walk away feeling lighter, clearer, and more confident in your next move.

What Can a Single Session Help With?

A one-time therapy session can be especially helpful when you're:

  • Navigating relationship distress (family, romantic, friendship, or workplace)

  • Exploring school or career direction

  • Reconnecting with God or your spiritual life

  • Preparing for a difficult conversation

  • Feeling stuck and unsure why

  • Facing a tough decision and needing clarity

How Does This Help You?

  • Saves time and money without the pressure of long-term therapy

  • Provides quick relief by addressing something that’s been weighing on you

  • Offers professional support from a trained therapist so you can move forward with confidence

  • Unlike traditional therapy, you will focus on one issue that can realistically be addressed in a single session. This means you will only have 1 session. • No, the aim of Single Session Therapy is ideally for one session. There may be occasions when ongoing therapy can be done with Dr. Perry depending on availability and clinical recommendations. If it is determined you need ongoing therapy and Dr. Perry is not available, additional resources will be provided to you.

  • It depends. If you want to schedule another session for the same issue, you would be be encouraged to consider taking time to reflect on and apply strategies discussed in the first session. If you still need assistance, then you and Dr. Perry can collaborate about your options.

*Please keep in mind that single session therapy is not meant to replace regular-ongoing therapy if that is what would best meet your needs.

  • Single Session Therapy is not covered by insurance.

Insurance will only cover services out of “medical necessity”, which requires a diagnosis. The goal of Single Session Therapy is laser focused on one issue to help you identify strategies to address your concern. As such, the focus will not be on gathering information to determine a diagnosis.

The investment for Single Session Therapy is $350.
